The Story of Ophelia - watercolor, acrylic, colored pencils.
A piece inspired from Shakespeare’s [edit] Hamlet and the character of Ophelia. For me her story is the most tragic and romantic in all his plays (and a bit underrated). I made this while I was going through some tough personal stuff, but during that moment, I really dont have time to wallow or feel immaturely miserable (boohoo) because I need to get some work started and done for our Hello Sailor exhibit which opened last April 14 (this was the first artwork I worked on for the show). I thought her story was very apt at that moment with what I was going through blablabla. :) (sold)
Purchasing inquiries and other Hello Sailor artworks.
